Doors open at 6:30pm for members to socialize, followed by the meeting at 7pm. The meeting consists of brief announcements, followed by a speaker, business meeting and show and tell. Show and Tell is a time for our members and guests to share their work in progress or completed projects with the group. There are several activities included at our guild meetings. From time to time we have special challenges, workshops and community service projects. We do a block of the month where patterns are provided; blocks are completed by members and returned at the next meeting. Participants "win" these blocks through a drawing. Many of our members belong to mini groups; these are small groups who meet at their designated time and place to sit and sew together. They share talents, interests, and sometimes-common projects. The best part of a mini groups is the opportunity to develop new friendships. Membership dues are $25.00 for adults and $15.00 for juniors (children 10 to 17 accompanied by an adult member) and paid annually in January. Guests and visitors are always welcome.
